Welcome to We Love Stoke!

Hey guys, this is Steven and Kim! Thank you so much for visiting our site We Love Stoke, we thought we would take a moment to introduce ourselves and tell you a little more about why we do what we do. 

The story starts with us! We found ourselves dating in and around Stoke-on-Trent and we were exploring how lovely the places were when visiting.

After a wonderful evening in the hot tub at Moddershall Oaks Spa, we started documenting what we were doing on Instagram. We had a few friends from Brighton and Milton Keynes where we were originally from (yes, we’re not even from Stoke!), asking us why we had moved to Stoke, and we decided to show them exactly why! 

We started the Instagram page on 8th February 2022 and quickly realised that it wasn’t just us who had the drive to show off how amazing Stoke is, we found a WHOLE community of people who also love Stoke! - The positivity around the page became contagious!

Coming up with the welovestoke name fell into place, “we” as in Steven and Kim loving Stoke, but “we” as in all of us, the entire city and beyond.

This love for Stoke helped us make the page a passion project. We quickly found ourselves trying to do everything Stoke has to offer and highlighting those hidden gems - we like to cover local events, businesses, restaurants and the great community Stoke offers. 

We’ve met so many great people during the two years of running this page, and the years of trying to do everything in Stoke have been challenging, and we still haven’t achieved our goal! We like to help not just the residents but also the visitors coming into the city.

We hope that you can use our website to make the most out of the wonderful historical city that Stoke-on-Trent has, and please always let us know about the adventures you go on!
